Short Biography

Mahinnaz Mirdehghan is an Associate Professor of General and Applied Linguistics/TPSOL and Head of the International Persian Language Training Center of Shahid Beheshti University (SBU), Tehran, Iran, and a multi-lingual in Persian, English and Hindi/Urdu languages. She has been a Persian teacher educator of TPSOL for educating trainees for teaching Persian language to foreign students since 2006 at M.A. level and since 2018 at Ph.D. level at SBU. Her main areas of interest include “TPSOL”, “Typology of Indo-Iranian languages” & “Linguistic researches on the holy Qur’an”. She has published more than 240 Books and Articles in international academic journals as well as chapters in edited volumes. She has guided main International and National projects as: “SBU-MIT OCW joint project” (2006-2009); “Persian Framework of Reference for Teaching Persian” (2017); “Professional Series of PARFA” (2018) (including 7 books for 3 levels of A, B and C); Professional Series for “Teaching Persian to Chinese Speakers” (including 3 books for the A1 level, up to now); Professional Series of “Teaching Persian to Adult Speakers of Other Languages” (including 12 books for 6 educational levels of A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).
